PARKING & DIRECTIONS

To tour Madeline Island Museum, visitors travel by ferry via the Madeline Island Ferry Line. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis for the 25 minute ferry which leaves from Bayfield Terminal, 20 Washington Avenue, Bayfield, WI 54814. The Museum is located only a block from the La Pointe Ferry Terminal along Colonel Woods Ave. On-site vehicle parking is available for FREE at Madeline Island Museum.

Madeline Island Museum’s Capser Center exhibit hall is accessible by wheelchair. Due to the scale used in our other historic buildings, access is somewhat limited. Accommodations can be made for individuals requiring wheelchairs for mobility. While no pets are allowed on the museum grounds, service animals are permitted for persons with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
